Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly arrived in Beirut this evening at the head of a ministerial delegation, marking the start of a two-day official visit. He was received at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Minister of Industry Joe Issa El Khoury.
An official welcoming ceremony for the Egyptian guest is scheduled to take place at 9:00 am tomorrow in the outer courtyard of the Grand Serail. This will be followed by a bilateral meeting between Salam and Madbouly, after which expanded talks will be held between the Lebanese and Egyptian delegations.
Salam and Madbouly will hold a joint press conference at the conclusion of the talks.
