The Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) in Geneva issued a final ruling in favor of American player Jordan Stevens in his case against Al Ahli Basketball Club.
The Swiss court accepted the case filed by Lebanese sports lawyer Ralph Charbel, legal representative of the American player, ruling that the Bahraini club must pay the outstanding financial dues, along with interest, legal costs, and arbitration fees.
In another case, Charbel also secured a victory for Ivorian footballer Bernard Henry Dombia against PDRM FC before FIFA’s football court. FIFA ruled in favor of the player, awarding him unpaid wages and financial compensation for contract termination with just cause, in addition to interest.
These two international legal victories highlight the lawyer’s strong performance across various fields, particularly in sports law.
