Lebanese Army reveals details behind missile debris falling in Keserwan
The Lebanese Army – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

“On March 24, 2026, following the fall of missile debris over a wide geographic area, specialized army units carried out an immediate field survey, collecting and analyzing the fragments. The results showed that the missile was a guided ballistic missile of the ‘Qadr-110’ type, Iranian-made, approximately 16 meters long with a range of about 2,000 km, and carrying several smaller submunitions.

It exploded at a high altitude, suggesting that its intended target was outside Lebanese territory. The cause of the explosion is likely either a technical malfunction or interception by another missile.

In this context, the Army Command confirmed that there are no interceptor missile platforms inside Lebanese territory.

The army continues its investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.”
