"Ambassador Michel Issa met today with President Joseph Aoun and Speaker Nabih Berri following meetings in Washington with President Trump, Secretary of State Rubio, and other key high-level officials. Ambassador Issa reaffirmed U.S. support for efforts to restore Lebanon's sovereignty and the state’s monopoly of arms."
