Lebanon’s Army Commander, General Rodolph Haykal, received at his Yarzeh office, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the French Army for Operations, General Jean-Michel Meunier, accompanied by a delegation.

The discussions reportedly focused on ways to enhance cooperation between the Lebanese and French armies, as well as the general situation in the country, and the impact of the regional situation on Lebanon.

During the meeting, Major General Haykal offered his condolences over the death of two members of the French contingent operating within UNIFIL.
