The Israeli army spokesperson wrote the following on X platform:
“Since the ceasefire understandings entered into force, IDF forces have continued operating in southern Lebanon to clear the area of terrorist elements and to destroy all Hezbollah infrastructure in the region.
So far, the forces have found large quantities of combat equipment and eliminated more than 25 militants who posed a threat to IDF forces in the area.
In parallel with ground operations, the Air Force has carried out around 50 strikes targeting terrorist operatives and infrastructure.
In recent days, since the announcement of the ceasefire, Hezbollah has carried out numerous terrorist attacks targeting IDF forces, which continue to operate freely in southern Lebanon.
The IDF will continue to act firmly against any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel and its forces, in accordance with political directives.”
