Kataeb Party Women in Awe

The newly-elected President of Kataeb Samy Gemayel will definitely mark a new leap for the old party; mainly that he is the youngest president since the party's foundation.

Sheikh Samy will immediately kick off setting the framework, preparing the "tools" and appointing his team to aid him in baring the heavy responsibility. His candidacy for Kataeb presidency was not spontaneous; it was well-meditated on many levels. He established a homogenous and young team, contacted the popular base of Kataeb through the regular visits to the offices in the regions or through receiving delegations in addition to taking bold stances when needed in the service of his "project" and through the party's media.

The grandson of the founder Pierre Gemayel seems to be qualified to lead the "second foundation" of the party, since he possesses a new work method which is far different from his father's, as he also enjoys dynamism in addition to the Kataeb youth's absolute support.

It is worth to mention that Samy managed mobilizing Kataeb's youths following the blow that was the assassination of former Minister Pierre Gemayel.

"We will work 24/7 and 365 days a year," said Samy following his declared victory in the party's elections held on Sunday at the Party's Central Home in Saifi.

He apologized in advance to Kataeb partisans' wives because "their husbands will no longer sleep at their home or will return very late."

The women were left in awe, do they celebrate Samy's victory or  forgive their husbands for their "legitimate" pretext for being absent for a long time? Maybe this will raise the male affiliation to the party...
