Today falls the Father's Day which does not enjoy the same sparks as the Mother's Day, on commercial and media levels. However, many Lebanese families will gather to celebrate it, while others won't because the father chose to be the master of many Lebanese nationals.

This father is the serviceman in the Lebanese army, standing by behind the barricades or near the borders, walking on his feet in a patrol searching for culprits to preserve the country's security or readying to respond to the barrack's call.

We might not know each other, we don't carry his name and we're not even blood relatives but this is our father.

Today, we kiss your forehead sweating in the sun while you're fighting in the outskirts and overseeing the coasts...

Without you, no smile on our faces and no joy for the holidays. Without you, the country is unsafe.

We are all proud of you Our Hero! We pray for the safe return of your abducted fellows to their families, wives and children. We are shedding hot tears for their absence. Together, we will eventually witness the day when you will triumph terrorism and death projects.
