In the rising age of technology, sex is no longer restricted to physical contact and web cams, Smartphones as well as the internet have contributed in its development into a new and improved service.

Social media is helping shorten distances between people who are wisely recruiting such means so as to convey specific messages while others are using them for their own sexual satisfaction; either through direct contact or through their connection to certain adult websites regardless of age and gender.

A female employee at an international money transfer agency named Leila noticed the unusual recurrent visits of several girls who drop by at least three times a week and receive substantial payments.

Leila discovered the girls’ occupation after they had engaged in a conversation over the counter as they waited for their transfer to be completed.

The girls admitted that they engage in cyber sexual intercourse with foreigners through their web cams without any fear of being exposed given that the men they ‘sleep with’ come from a high social class and are quite happy with the services they are receiving.

According to a report published in al-Shiraa magazine, the girls, aged between 17 and 21, affirmed that the "job" pays quite well, stressing that it is better than direct relations which might cause them potential problems such as an undesired pregnancy.

Since this can be done from home, all we need is to be all alone in our room. There is no need for us to find excuses to go out and meet the 'clients',” one girl said.

Most clients are either widowers, divorces or single and are usually over 60. According to the girls, these men prefer cybersex over "traditional" intercourse.
