Agriculture Minister Abbas Hajj Hassan, along with his accompanying delegation, pursued a visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, where he underwent field visits in Al-Aghwar region, and had a closer look at some modern models for the cultivation of pepper, tomato and strawberry through hydro-agricultural techniques.
Minister Hajj Hassan also paid a visit to a complex for the production and packaging of dates, which is the largest in the Kingdom.
In the wake of his field visits, Hajj Hassan hailed the agricultural advancements in the Kingdom, and the means of exchanging expertise through joint Arab cooperation, especially the Arab Mashreq countries, which face challenges related to climatic changes and water scarcity.
