Two people died when a twin-engine plane crashed in the residential part of Valencia in Venezuela yesterday morning.

Venezuelan authorities identified the victims as the pilot Luis Alfredo Maldonado and the co-pilot Rodolfo Dilena.

The cause of the crash was being investigated.
