Sleiman confers with Gul over Turkish and Lebanese kidnapped issue
President Michel Sleiman contacted Friday his Turkish Counterpart, President Abdullah Gul, with whom he conferred over the issue of the Lebanese and Turkish kidnapped.

Sleiman denounced the kidnapping incident that took place early Friday; assuring the Turkish President of underway efforts to unveil the kidnapped whereabouts, so as to ensure their release.

For his part, Gul referred to his country's exerted efforts for the sake of releasing the kidnapped Lebanese citizens in Ezaz, hoping that they will be released and returned to their families the soonest possible.

It is to note that President Sleiman held a series of contacts with security and judicial officials immediately upon hearing news of the kidnapping incident early Friday.

Sleiman urged concerned officials and security forces to adopt all necessary safety measures along the airport highway, in accordance with the cabinet's decision in this respect.
