President Michel Aoun met Wednesday at Baabda Palace with advisor to the Saudi Royal Court, Nizar al-Aloula, accompanied by Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari.
The senior Saudi envoy conveyed to Aoun the felicitations of King Salman bin Abdel Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman on the formation of the Lebanese government.
He also expressed "Saudi Arabia's support for Lebanon and assistance in all fields with the aim of bolstering the fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries."
In turn, Aoun highlighted to his guest Lebanon's keenness on strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields.
In addition to the means to activate the bilateral agreements, Aoun and al-Aloula discussed the Lebanese proposal to found an academy for "human rapprochement and dialogue."
