Minister of State for the Empowerment of Women and Youth, Violette Khairallah Safadi promised via her Twitter on Sunday that she will follow-up on the regretful fire incident that broke out on Abou Ali Bridge in Tripoli.
In this context, Safadi disclosed that she contacted Brigadier General Mohamed Khair, who assured her of assessing the damages incurred and the needs of the people who suffered from the fire, in line with the instructions of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
Safadi added that for her part, she would follow-up on the matter with the Higher Relief Commission to determine the needed repairs, appealing to Commission members to compensate those affected by the fire the soonest possible.
