Prime Minister Saad Hariri, currently in Washington, received a phone call from President Michel Aoun on Monday, congratulating him on the Adha occasion and wishing him a blessed Eid.
Hariri had arrived at dawn on Monday in the US capital, where he is expected to meet with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and a number of US officials, with talks centering on the prevailing conditions in Lebanon and the region, and on bilateral relations.
Hariri was welcomed at Washington Airport by Lebanese Ambassadors to the United States, Gaby Issa, and the United Nations, Amal Mudallali.
