Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati contacted today Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, with talks touching on ways to develop relations between both countries.

Mikati renewed the invitation to his Iraqi counterpart to visit Lebanon, whereby it was agreed that the visit would take place soon.

Both men also touched on the issue of Iraqi students in Lebanon, where Mikati renewed his keenness on dealing with their files as soon as possible in accordance with the laws in force.
