Warning Of Major Energy Crisis As Moscow Calls To Reopen Hormuz
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called for reopening the Strait of Hormuz and preventing a resumption of the war.

Following talks with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, in Tehran, Lavrov said that returning to the prewar situation includes restoring freedom of navigation and securing guarantees that aggression will not be repeated. He expressed Moscow’s readiness to seek a way out of the crisis.

Araghchi blamed Washington for the insecurity in the Gulf, calling for regional security without the involvement of foreign powers. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned of a serious energy crisis if Washington launches an attack, even a limited one, and threatened to resort to weapons it has not yet used.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said American attacks had left large parts of Iran exposed to future attacks if needed.
