At least one Palestinian has succumbed to injuries sustained during an earlier Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip, and another person has been injured in new Israeli violence over the past 24 hours, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.

The ministry statement published on Telegram said Israel killed 1,259 people in Gaza since the US-brokered “ceasefire” took effect in October last year.

Israel’s war on Gaza killed at least 73,387 people and injured 174,257 since October 2023, the ministry added.
