Araghchi warns US of ‘bigger miscalculation’ in Strait of Hormuz
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that the United States was making an "even bigger miscalculation" in the Strait of Hormuz following what he described as decades of "intelligence failures," Russia Today reported.

"The United States has long miscalculated due to intelligence failures, including the war on Iran. Now, there is an even bigger miscalculation in the Strait of Hormuz," Araghchi wrote on X.

"Worse than fake news is fake intelligence. Be careful," he added, concluding: "God is great, greater than any power on Earth. We trust in God."

His remarks came after US President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday that the US naval blockade of Iran had become known as a "Wall of Steel," saying there was nothing Iran could do about it.

Trump also said Iran no longer had naval or air power, its remaining soldiers were unpaid, the Revolutionary Guards had suffered massive destruction and were fleeing the battlefield, and the Iranian leadership was in a state of confusion and uncertainty.
