Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya said in a post on X that the Israeli military’s overnight strikes were carried out in response to what she described as “a serious violation of the agreement” by Hezbollah, accusing the group of attacking Israeli forces inside the agreed security zone.
“We will not allow Hezbollah to violate the agreement, nor will we accept any attempt to harm our forces or threaten the security of Israeli citizens,” Waweya added.
