Security agencies have identified the man known as “Abou Haidar,” whose name came up during the interrogation of detainees Haitham Amhaz and Ali al-Kurdi in the explosives shipment case.
MTV's website has learned that Government Commissioner to the Military Court, Judge Claude Ghanem, will bring charges against “Abu Haidar” under his real name. Meanwhile, Military Court Investigative Judge Ghada Abou Alwan is expected to receive the investigation file tomorrow, Monday, and schedule a hearing to question Amhaz and al-Kurdi within the next two days. This will pave the way for the issuance of arrest warrants in person against the two detainees and in absentia against the remaining defendants, bringing the total number of accused to 13.
