Another warehouse raided... and a secret tunnel used by gangs to trade stolen goods!

The Internal Security Forces (ISF) General Directorate – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:

As part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to combat all types of crime, particularly motorcycle theft across Lebanon, on November 8, 2026, a force from the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit raided a warehouse containing stolen motorcycles at the entrance of Sabra camp on the Mount Lebanon side.

During the raid, several wanted individuals opened fire on the patrol and threw a hand grenade, prompting officers to return fire. Clashes with the suspects continued for approximately one hour. One of the suspects sustained minor head injuries after falling while attempting to flee.

The patrol subsequently managed to enter and raid the warehouse, where it discovered a tunnel that had been built to facilitate the exchange of stolen goods between criminal gangs. A number of stolen motorcycles, drugs, military weapons and ammunition, including hand grenades, were seized.

Members of the gang were arrested on charges of theft, drug-related offenses and other crimes. They were identified as:
- M. A. (born in 1995, Palestinian)
- S. D. (born in 1994, Lebanese)
- D. A. (born in 2006, Lebanese)
It is worth noting that the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit had previously raided another warehouse in the Sabra area, where it seized stolen motorcycles and drugs.

The detainees, along with the seized items, were handed over to the relevant unit for the necessary legal proceedings, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judicial authorities.
