Lebanese Army Command's Orientation Directorate issued the following statement: 

"Two Air Force helicopters departed this morning from Qlayaat Airport in Akkar to participate in extinguishing fires in the Latakia countryside, based on an initiative by the Lebanese authorities, in coordination between the Army Command and the Syrian authorities."
