The Sovereign Front for Lebanon has called for an extraordinary meeting of all its components and representatives of the parties affiliated with the front on Monday at 12:00 pm to discuss reactivating the criminal complaint against Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem. The meeting will also include a number of activists who had previously filed a report with the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Cassation against Qassem.

MTV has learned that the mentioned report is still pending at the Palace of Justice and has not yet been addressed.

In the same context, MP Ashraf Rifi alluded to the possibility of resorting to the judiciary to file a new complaint against Qassem. MTV has also learned that meetings took place over the past hours, including Rifi and representatives of political parties and figures, all aiming to unify the stance regarding the planned judicial pursuit.

These meetings are expected to continue starting next week to reach a position and decision on pursuing Qassem and Hezbollah for crimes stipulated under the Lebanese Penal Code.
