The Customs department of Beirut's International airport revealed an unusual concealment method to smuggle illicit drugs into the country.
A Bulgarian national, A.B. (1982), was caught coming from Brazil through Adis Ababa with two suitcases. the folded and packed clothes were soaked in cocaine and weighed about 40 kgs.
The Customs would have charges nearly 200 million LPB for the weight while it could have undoubtedly sold for high price in the market.
the smuggler have been detained and transferred to the central anti-narcotic bureau in Beirut for further investigations.
