Higher Education Minister Akram Chehayeb was briefed Thursday on the preparations underway for the official examinations which will commence on June 12.
Chehayeb praised the work of the examinations team members, appreciating their high responsibility demonstrated by working throughout the Fitr Eid to complete the necessary arrangements.
Accompanied by the Education Ministry's Director General Fadi Yaraq, Examinations Department Head Amal Shaaban, and IT Unit Head Toufic Karam, Chehayeb inspected the examinations centers and was briefed on the questions' preparation and distribution across all governorates in the country. He listened to a technical explanation about the surveillance cameras installed in the various examination centers and linked to the main office at the Education Ministry.
Chehayeb reiterated the motto he raised on his first day of assuming his duties at the Ministry, namely to restore the high standard and significance of the Lebanese official certificate, deeming that the "responsible and professional work" of the Ministry's team will help him achieve this goal.
It is to note that the intermediate certificate exams will be begin on June 12, while the secondary certificate exams (in their three branches) will start on the 18th of June.
