Watch: Army Raids Drug Manufacturing Site In Baalbek
The Lebanese Army said in a statement that a military unit raided a house in the town of Iaat, Baalbek, used to manufacture and sell drugs. The unit seized a quantity of drugs, along with raw materials, equipment and machinery used in drug manufacturing. It also arrested a Lebanese national, identified as (M.Q.), who was wanted for opening fire.

Another military unit raided the homes of wanted individuals in the Sharawneh area of Baalbek. It arrested a Lebanese national, identified as (M.J.), who was wanted for opening fire, as well as two Syrians, identified as (H.H.) and (M.H.), for being in Lebanese territory without legal documents. A firearm and equipment used for drug manufacturing were also seized.

Another unit arrested a Lebanese national, identified as (A.J.), in the Mina al-Hosn area of Beirut for drug trafficking.

At the Nabaa al-Murj checkpoint in Baalbek, another Army unit arrested two Lebanese nationals, identified as (B.K.) and (Y.F.), for possessing firearms.

The seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities, and investigations into the detainees were launched under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
