The National Geophysics Center said a 3.1-magnitude minor earthquake was felt at 2:40 AM in areas outstretching between Beirut and Ajaltoun.

The center deemed this quake as a mild one, noting that more than 600 tremors not exceeding in magnitude 3 degrees on the Richter scale hit Lebanon annually.
