Displaced Minister, Issam Charafeddine, on Wednesday regretted the fact that political malice, partisan divisions, squandering, and corruption over the last thirty years have led Lebanon to this ill-fated stage of bankruptcy.
He hoped in an interview with The Voice of All Lebanon radio station for fundamental changes, affirming the government's relentless efforts to calm the atmosphere.
Moreover, he expressed optimism regarding the government's work, hoping that regional understandings will reflect positively on Lebanon. He also expressed full support for expatriate voting in the upcoming legislative elections.
Regarding the work of the ministry of displaced, he said that many cases have been pending for decades and stressed that he would seek to close the IDP file once and for all.
