Free Patriotic Movement head, MP Gebran Bassil, tweeted the following: "Another shocking fact: In April 2016, on the eve of his financial engineering, the Central Bank Governor removed 14 pages from a report issued by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank warning of a disaster after discovering the Central Bank’s large deficit and the lack of liquidity in banks. Three and a half years before the beginning of the collapse, the Governor deliberately obliterated the truth, committing a crime on top of another."
