Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Wednesday that "the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and the government are asked to assume their responsibility and refuse to bow to Hezbollah's intimidation."
"If they yield to such intimidation and suspend the probe into the Beirut port blast, they then must resign immediately," Geagea told a news conference following a meeting for the "Strong Republic" parliamentary bloc at his Maarab residence.
"Nothing prevails over justice, and the judiciary will have the final say," he underlined.
On the attempts to defy judicial investigator judge Tarek Bitar, Geagea called upon the "free people of Lebanon" to get ready for a peaceful general strike, should the other camp insist on "imposing its will by force."
