Energy Minister Walid Fayad is currently in the Egyptian capital to partake in the Cairo Water Week event, held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

In Cairo, Fayad held talks with his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Abdel-Atti. The pair agreed to reactivate a memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries in 2010.
