Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Thursday met at the Second Presidency in Ain el-Tineh with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, in the presence of Speaker Berri’s Political Aide, MP Ali Hassan Khalil.

Discussions reportedly touched on the current general situation and the latest developments.

Premier Mikati left Ain el-Tineh without making any statement.

Speaker Berri also welcomed in Ain el-Tineh Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdallah Bou Habib, who left without making any statement.

Berri also received the Director of Political Affairs at the German Foreign Ministry Philip Ackermann, in the presence of German Ambassador to Lebanon, Andreas Kindl.

Discussions reportedly touched on the current general situation in Lebanon and the broad region, in addition to the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Germany.
