Minister of Culture, Judge Mohammad Wissam Mortada, on Monday welcomed in his office at the Ministry the Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon, Vahagn Atabekyan, who came on a protocol visit.

Discussions between the pair reportedly touched on the current general situation and the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, in addition to the bilateral relations at the various levels, especially in the field of culture.

Both sides also emphasized the importance of consolidating and strengthening the bilateral cultural cooperation in several fields, including fine art, theater and folklore arts.
