Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, on Tuesday received in his office at the Ministry the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Baris Ulusoy, with whom he discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Minister Mawlawi also met with MP Mohammed Sleiman, with talks reportedly touching on the general situation and the latest developments, as well as affairs related to the district of Akkar and the North.

Among Minister Mawlawi’s itinerant visitors for today had been a delegation from the “Beirut Families Association”, headed by Mohammad Afif Yamout, with talks centering on the city of Beirut’s present conditions especially at the services and developmental levels.

This afternoon, Mawlawi met with a delegation of the Land Transport Unions, headed by Bassam Tlais, with the situation of drivers and the need to implement the agreement with the Ministry of Interior featuring high on their discussions.
