General Security clarifies statement regarding biometric passports

The General Directorate of General Security issued the following statement on Friday: 

“In order to clarify its previous statement and to prevent any confusion, the General Directorate of General Security confirms that requests for obtaining or replacing Lebanese biometric passports (ten years) for adults will still be received, while requests to obtain or replace passports (five years) will be limited to those under the age of 18 only."
