Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdallah Bou Habib, pursued on Sunday his visit to Russia, where the accredited Patriarch of the Church of Antioch and All the East in Moscow, Archbishop Neven Saikali, held a luncheon in his honor, in the presence of Lebanese Ambassador to the Russian Federation Chawki Bou Nassar, former MP Amal Abou Zeid, and the Ambassadors of France, Greece, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Tunisia, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Lithuania, as well as the Chargé d'Affaires of Algeria, Germany, Singapore and the United States, representative of the Russian Orthodox Church, and adviser to former PM Saad Hariri George Chaaban.
In his delivered speech, Saikali welcomed Minister Bou Habib and the honorable guests, wishing Bou Habib a successful work visit and hoping for all goodness and prosperity for Lebanon.
In turn, Bou Habib thanked the Archbishop and the attendees for their warm reception and devotion to Lebanon, calling on "all the loving countries, especially those participating today’s meeting, to stand by Lebanon and help it overcome its crises."
