Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Commission, Major General Mohammad Kheir, met on Saturday with Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Baris Ulusoy, accompanied by the Military Attaché at the Embassy in Beirut.

Discussions during the meeting touched on the results of the Turkish Foreign Minister's recent visit to Lebanon, the general situation prevailing on the local and regional scenes,  and ways of coordinating efforts to provide aid to the Lebanese people in these difficult circumstances that Lebanon is going through, especially in the humanitarian and health fields.

Major General Kheir, on behalf of Prime Minister Najib Mikati, thanked Ambassador Ulusoy for his visit and Turkey's initiative to extend a helping hand to the Lebanese people.
