Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Thursday received at the Second Presidency in Ain el-Tineh the Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon, Vahagn Atabekyan, who handed him a congratulatory letter on the occasion of Lebanon’s Independence Day from his Armenian counterpart Alen Simonyan, and an open invitation to visit Armenia.

Speaker Berri also met with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippi Grandi, whereby they discussed the general situation, especially the issue of the displaced Syrians.
