Head of the Democratic Gathering, MP Taymour Jumblatt, tweeted on Saturday in memory of his late grandfather, saying: "In memory of Kamal Jumblatt, we go back to the foundations of the values, ethics, and concepts that he established, in the state, in politics, in thought and in public life... There is an urgent need today to rebuild the state and institutions. The first step is to elect a president for the republic and stop the paths of obstruction and paralysis."
