General Security Chief, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, received on Wednesday in his office, the Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon, Vahagn Atabekyan, with whom he discussed the latest political developments in Lebanon and the region, and ways to enhance cooperation between the General Security Directorate and the Armenian Embassy.

Major General Ibrahim later met with the Archbishop of the Melkite Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Zahle and Forzol, Bishop Ibrahim Ibrahim, and discussed with him the current general situation, and affairs and needs related to the region.
