Britain's trade minister, Liam Fox, said on Sunday discussions over the country's departure from the European Union in government were going on, but just not in public, and there were a number of options available for Brexit.
Fox told an event on the sidelines of the Conservative Party conference in Birmingham, central England, that Britain would not need to reapply for membership of the World Trade Organization when it left the bloc.
Earlier, Prime Minister Theresa May said Britain would trigger the formal divorce procedure by the end of March.
