Lebanese Forces' leader, Samir Geagea, on Friday maintained that his party was not seeking to isolate any Lebanese side, stressing that these attempts are doomed to failure.
"The LF respects all parties and movements and does not want to isolate anybody; all what it is demanding is that others stop trying to isolate it; these attempts are doomed to failure," he said.
He also underlined that his party would not remain silent over the ongoing corruption and waste of public funds for the sake of its presence in the government.
"Our presence is to fight corruption and not to obtain posts," he stressed.
"The time of correct representation has come," he added.
On Maarab agreement inked with the Free Patriotic Movement, the LF said: "If we hold onto it, it is only to spread a climate of stability and entente inside the community."
Geagea's remarks came during a distribution ceremony of new party membership cards, in Maarab.
