Beirut Greek Orthodox Archbishop, Elias Audeh, on Tuesday welcomed Vice Prime Minister, Ghassan Hasbani, with whom he discussed the current situation and Orthodox community affairs.
On emerging, Hasbani said he discussed with Archbishop Audeh most recent developments in the country in light of current challenges.
In his capacity as Vice Priem Minister, Hasbani briefed the Archbishop on his work within the National Commission for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) tasked to devise the 2030 Vision for Sustainable Development in Lebanon, set to be launched this week.
Hasbani stressed the substantial importance of working towards fulfilling citizens' aspirations, stepping up calls for executing immediate and serious required reforms in order to address the current simmering situation.
On the other hand, Audeh received this morning Beirut City Governor Judge Ziad Shbib.
