Head of the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council, Sheikh AbdEl Amir Kabalan, received this Tuesday the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nazih Al-Najari, on a farewell visit marking the end of his Beirut duties.
Discussions touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, with emphasis on "the rejection of the so-called deal of the century," and "the support of the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate rights in an independent State with Jerusalem as its capital, followed by the return of Palestinian refugees to their homes."
Ambassador Najari thanked his host for his continued support, hoping for furthering cooperation and brotherhood "which is not strange, but rather normal between us. We always look forward for the good of Lebanon and the Arab and Islamic nation."
