In the wake of a rescue plan offered to the Lebanese people by Prime Minister Saad Hariri, hours before the expiration of the 72 hour deadline, protesters remained on the streets across the country on Tuesday to express their rejection of the reform list and insist that they won't leave the streets before the government steps down.
Consequently, most of the private and public institutions, schools and universities, closed their doors on Tuesday, mostly due to the fact that people couldn't commute to their desired destinations.
Meanwhile, the following roads remain blocked by protesters:
Jal el-Dib highway - Manara roundabout in Zahle - Aley - Bhamdoun - Sawfar - Halba - Samrieh highway in Koura - Jiyyeh highway - Zouk Mkayel - Kfarhazir/Chekka - Ring Bridge - Chekka/Batroun - different roads in Sidon.
