Lebanese mothers observed on Wednesday a sit-in in Ain El-Remmaneh in rejection of the street manifestations witnessed in the past two days and the dismissal of the language of "war and axes.
Lebanese mothers carried Lebanese flags, banners and white flowers, amid security measures by the Lebanese army and internal security forces.
A great number of media representatives were also present.
Mothers chanted the national anthem and raised slogans calling for the unity of the nation and the end of the civil war, saying "no to violence, no to sectarianism and no to civil war."
Mothers then marched towards Assad Al Assaad Street in Chiyyah off the locality of Ain El-Remmaneh, chanting "peaceful protest" and "We don't want sectarianism."
