Caretaker Minister of Public Works Ali Hamieh received on Thursday in his office at the Ministry, Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon Koen Vervaeke.

The pair held a tour d’horizon on local developments, and matters involving the ministry, especially in terms of the reforms that were implemented in its affiliated facilities, notably in terms of activating work in the port of Beirut and its reconstruction plan.

Caretaker Minister Hamieh stressed before his guest that dialogue among the Lebanese represents the right way to end the presidential vacuum.

Hamieh also underlined that the reforms undertaken by the Ministry in terms of ports and airports fall in the service of the state building.
