An Israeli enemy drone attacked a UNIFIL military vehicle near Rmeish in the central sector, according to the National News Agency. The attack resulted in injuries to several UNIFIL soldiers and a Lebanese citizen. Following the incident, a UNIFIL helicopter arrived at the site to evacuate the wounded.
Sources indicate that the attack targeted a four-wheel-drive vehicle belonging to UNTSO truce observers near Point B37 on the Blue Line, which marks the border with occupied Palestine. The vehicle was struck by a direct missile around 10:15 am this morning. The attack left three officers and a civilian translator injured, with one in critical condition.
A rescue operation is currently underway to transport the injured individuals by UNIFIL helicopter.
