Kataeb Party chief, MP Samy Gemayel on Tuesday presided over the weekly meeting of the party's politburo at the Saifi Central House, to discuss most recent political developments and the general situation.
In a statement issued in the wake of the meeting, Kataeb politburo stepped up calls for radical reforms in order to avoid collapse, indicating that the current simmering situation necessitates a nationwide opposition to rescue the nation through an inclusive national vision.
The Phalange Party renewed calls for early elections from which a fair, effective and competent authority will be established capable of running the affairs of the country.
